I have a lot of speed dials that I’ve lost because of this. I really need this thing to be brought back. Please help, Firefox

Вообще-то это безобразие со стороны Мозиллы. У меня в Спид Дайале было много нужных мне дилов и теперь у меня нет к ним доступа. Свинство.

Вообще-то это сволочизм. Если не было чего-то совершенно чрезвычайного, нехер было удалять очень нужные мне вещи без предупреждения. Полагаю, руководство Мозиллы не подохло бы, если бы предупредило пользователей и дало хотя бы несколько дней для сохранения информации в другом виде. Переношу сохраненные бэкапы в Хром, но самое последнее - а там много важного, что бэкапилось автоматически, перенести не могу. Сволочи!

Поддерживаю!
Могли бы хотя бы предупредить! У меня около 20 папок с закладками по 20-30 сайтов. Так как научен горьким опытом, то сохранял все в Everhelper. Хорошо что есть ещё расширение для Хрома, там хоть всё восстановилось.

Я удалю этот проклятый FireFox, могли предупредить прежде чем отключать. чтоб люди сохранили закладки. Потерял очень много сайтов. Могли бы сами сделать вместо этого дополнения такую функцию а не сделали, такой голый браузер да еще который без предупреждения берет и блокирует дополнение, которое реально было очень удобным для тех кто пользуется многими сайтами это бред. если в течении нескольких суток не включат дополнение для копирования данных то я снесу раз и навсегда эту помойку.
Нарушает значит нарушает, но предупреждать надо ибо это не какой-то там переводчик а дополнение которое сохраняло очень много информации. Я очень не довольный и просто горю от ярости из-за этой ситуации. Есть у меня бэкап старых сайтов и я перенесу их в гугл Хром и в будущем позабочусь, чтоб на случай такой блокировки в Хроме у меня были сайты в документе. А этот браузер в корзину. Так дела не делаются. :rage: :rage: :rage: :rage:

где теперь можно взять скачать это расширение для ФайрФокс? я его от безнадеги был сразу удалил.

Я, пока не восстановился, подумывал вот над чем. Я бы сделал бэкап сегодняшней системы, потом откатился бы на самый молодой бэкап или точку восстановления, отключил бы интернет, чтобы Мозилла не обновлялась, а потом сохранил бы хотя бы те дилы, которые были на тот момент.

I can’t believe it. I have almost 200 Bookmarks which i need to recover in private and business use cases. I understand if there are some security issues it may need to make changes. But Why are you not inform users to make backups of their FVD Speed Dial Links which i only Backup’ed in *.sd Files. Unbelieveable. What is the workaround? I need time for another solution. Unblock it for one or two days to save my dials.

Seriously what the fuck? Remotely disabling add-on, have you become as authoritarian as Apple? Do you really have zero care for the end user completely disregard for the consequences for them ?

No I not happy , not only for the serval dozen bookmarks I lost, but also and maybe be more because this treachery comes from Mozilla.
From Apple, it to be excepted… but from you. Great job losing more people to other browser…

I am fed up w Firefox disabling add ons w/o notice to users. I use FVD Speed Dial & now I have lost not only my most recent additions but the format I just spent a hour on redoing. If we had notice I would have backed up my latest Speed Dial but now it is lost.

I don’t need Firefox to protect me. This is sheer stupidity: “FVD Speed Dial has been disabled due to security or stability issues.”

Adios, Buh Bye. Never again Firefox idiots. Hello Chrome

I’m incredibly angry. I did not have all of my bookmarks in EverySync saved, and I have lost a ton. I used SpeedDial for literally everything – sites for bill paying, e-mail. I have lost a ton of bookmarks now for my work. My last saved backup on EverSync was from 2019.

I hate Chrome, but at least I can use this, if I can reconstruct some of it. And, of course, with Chrome you can no longer import any of your other bookmark settings from Firefox unless it’s an HTML file. So everything I have in Chrome is, of course, outdated from the last time I used it and synced everything with Firefox.

I really don’t appreciate the censorship at all – and that’s what this is. If there had been a warning I could at the very least backed everything up onto the EverHelper server and then said good-bye to Firefox, unless and until they get their act together.

In 2020, we became aware that the developer of the FVD add-on had begun intercepting search queries that were being sent to a third-party search provider, in clear violation of the Mozilla Add-ons Policies. After a repeated violation we again explicitly told them under which circumstances this type of data collection is not acceptable. At the time, the developer disabled the feature, and we continued to host FVD Speed Dial.

Recently we have become aware that the developer has attempted to re-enabled the offending functionality, which remains in violation of AMO policy. In light of these repeated offenses, we have blocked this addon.

While we regret the impact that this has had on some of our users, we believe that our commitments to user safety and the importance of user trust in Firefox and its surrounding ecosystem have obligated us to take this action, and we stand by this decision.
