This extension is restricted for violating Mozilla’s policies and has been disabled

Today we were greeted with the message that our extension is restricted. It is a self hosted extension distributed via policy to the users of our customers. The Add-On Developer Hub reports the latest release (yesterday) was approved with zero errors and some warnings as it has done for the previous 100+ iterations we have released. No emails have been received on the contact email address indicating any issue.

Is there a procedure for obtaining more information about why the extension has been restricted? Currently we have no explanation and no path to getting this unrestricted.

This may be a simple as getting a bit carried away with extension version cleanup. The version in question got deleted as it is only used internally. The error message presented to the end user (in this case just our own internal users) made this a panic moment.

Issue is resolved. Was just the version in question being deleted too soon.
