The time-stamp of an new Email determinants where it is listed. Sometime users have distorted clocks on there Devices. So I miss an Email which is marked as 
new, but sits much earlier in the list.
I suggest:
To jump in the showing of the newEmail listing to the 1st new Email, even if it is before the others.
Try using the Quick Filter Toolbar.
