One of the most successful hackathon weāve organised - Great mix of work and funWell organised
Gasper was an excellent organizer
We have seen activity after the event for example in Bulgaria
Nino did an amazing work on social media, community took ownership of instagram for the weekend and increased the followers by 10%!
QUESTIONS:
How many hackathons are still planned and when/where will take place?
Kuala Lumpur end of August, India in September, Turkic+RTL (TBD), Romance (Paris, November)
How were the goals decided for each team? for themselves or together with the team?
Goals are defined by each team together with l10n drivers (e.g. we ask all locales to work on improving quality), depending on the status of each locale. We also ask them to go back to the Wiki page after the event and update the status of each goal.
Is there a hashtag where we can find all the social media posts?
#mozl10nljubljana
Is there a place where we can read a debrief to learn about this great event?
TOPIC 4 - ROM Process and May & June announcements - @ioana
Process
Between 1st and 10th of each months reps are nominated
Voting open till 25th Writing details - help needed from mentor
For may - the automation process was broken
QUESTIONS:
Why is there such a big scarcity of rep mentors?
I do not thing this question is related to ROM, but I would say that we had many applications and we filled up our mentors.
Only mentors vote or all reps?
mentors only
why ? I understand that the nomination process is limited to mentors, but I feel like the vote could be extended to all reps. What was the reason to limit the vote to mentors?
I am not sure anyone remember why it started like this - but it is a good feedback and we will took it into consideration.
Shouldnāt it be mandatory to provide descriptions of work for a nominated rep, can we make it so?
we have entered a bug for it to be implemented - sometimes we do add notes in a pad
