TOPIC 1 - Hawai’i Participation update - Lucy Harris

  • Open Innovation & Participation Merger
  • new team structure:
    • Don Marti : experiments around open source community
    • Rina: user research (open innovation toolkit)
    • Rosana: Partnership, working with other teams to
    • George: Community development(under Lucy) & participation system (under Henrik)
    • Patrick: Team strategy
  • Community Development status: sync with Council & the whole team on planning for 2017.
  • Next call (after the holidays): we will have Lucy again & Patrick to talk about the team strategy for 2017
  • OKR process

TOPIC 2 - Hawai’i Council update - Brian King

  • Complement the Participation/Open Innovation team plan (work in progress)
  • Work closely with the new Community development team
  • planning to work together with MoFo
  • co-creation Open innovation strategy
  • Next step for Reps-next
    Questions:
  • Do we still encourage people to join Reps program?
  • yes. But there is still an ongoing problem on on-boarding part. But of course, we still looking for more & best people to join the program.
  • we do have some botterneck on mentoring and on boarding, we want to try mass onboarding way and that would be part of future work

  • January Privacy Month Campaign is a community led campaign/initiative to celebrate International Data Privacy Day. The campaign was originated by Mozilla India in 2016 and is intended to be a global campaign each year. It is a campaign where communities from all over the world come together to learn, share and spread awareness about current trends and future issues for privacy and steps that we can take against privacy infringements.
