ROMs for March!
TOPIC 1 - Tech Speakers - Reps collaboration Michael Ellis
About Tech Speakers:
Mozilla Tech Speakers is a program designed to bring together volunteer contributors who are currently speaking to technical audiences about Firefox, Mozilla and the Open Web at industry events around the world. Through Mozilla Tech Speakers, participants have an opportunity to work on public speaking skill-development with a group of technical contributor peers from many countries. Mozillians old and new, and our allies across the open web (at all levels of experience) are welcome to apply.
Tech Speakers is currently collaborating with Reps to place subject matter experts at MozActivate events for the purpose of delivering talks and hosting workshops.
If you are interested in have a Mozilla Tech Speaker attend an event you are organizing for these purposes, feel free to reach out to Konstantina and myself with your request; we will do our best to match you with a speaker relevant to your topic and region.
Questions:
does this change something for the already existing Reps that ar Moztech Speakers?
If you are a Tech Speaker who is also organizing a Reps Activate event, you are certainly welcome to serve as your own “expert speaker”; however, if you need assistance or need a speaker in another topic area, we encourage you to reach out to us!
