Next Dataset Release

Thank you everyone for your continued contribution to Common Voice. Early this year we shared that the dataset will be released every three months.

Our next release is tenatively scheduled for the week commencing 24th April. The cut of the period for dataset (version 9) release will be today - meaning any clips contributed after today will be in release V10.

Future releases are scheduled are tentatively in July and December. Cutt off periods is usually a week before the dataset release day.

You are invited to Community Funding Workshop on 21st April, 4 pm UTC (See our Timezone). Sign up via bit.ly/3jb33Ex

We have curated a workshop to support community members in getting funding for Common Voice events and initiatives. Why should you come? If the following comic strip that I created resonates with you should definitely attend.

At the workshop, you will hear from community members who have secured funding for initiatives via Mozilla Resource Reps and external funds.

To get a taste of what these workshops look like check out the event planning workshop recording and resources.
