I wanted to provide an update while we are working through this issue:
All accounts and their content reported here up to this point have been restored. Unblocking will roll out over the next few hours to Firefox users with affected extensions.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused for you.
I also wanted to share some context on why this happened: we’ve been experiencing a large amount of malicious users and activity related to extensions submissions and took action yesterday to make sure users visiting addons.mozilla.org are not exposed to that. Unfortunately, a few legitimate accounts were caught in this as well.
After we’ve resolved these issues, we’re going to make sure to review our processes and safeguards to avoid issues like this in future.
We’re sorry this happened and for the disruption it’s caused. We appreciate your patience, and the work you all put into the Firefox add-ons ecosystem.
